Product Review: Brittanie’s Thyme Facial Freedom Moisturizer
Posted by: | CommentsWelcome to Spring Break Product Review Week! This is Day 4…are you ready to have your mind blown??
Ok, you’re not going to have your mind blown, but you are going to learn about my latest favorite all natural skin cleanser…
Living in South Florida, I’ve always loved citrus. In fact, before the ole canker hit (and my trees had to be cut down
, we had an orange and a grapefruit tree in the backyard. I remember picking the fruit off my tree and juicing it the old fashioned way. Just by squeezing it! That was the best juice I ever had. I miss my tree….
This brings us to today’s review…
Brittanie’s Thyme Facial Freedom Organic Citrus Facial Cleanser….that’s a mouthful!
Product Review: Essence of Vali Botanical Perfume
Posted by: | CommentsWelcome to Day 2 of Spring Break Product Review Week! Since I am off this week, I decided to do this because I’ve been finding THE best products and I want to share them with you (and I actually have TIME-whoopie!)
Since I went organic, I’ve had challenges finding a good natural perfume. I tend to not like the overlly floral scents…I adore fresh, citrus scents however. I did review a line of perfectly natural fragrances here, if you want to check it out: Golden Earth Perfume
But today I am reviewing my absolute favorite perfume (so far.) Introducing…..
Essence of Vali…if that name sounds familiar, it’s because their sleep blend was recently featured in Goodebox. I fell in love with that so upon further exploration, decided to order the perfume.
Product Review: Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Body Wash
Posted by: | CommentsPeppermint. You either hate it or love it. I happen to be one of those who love it. Peppermint is so aroma-therapeutic! When I have a headache, all I need to do is mix a drop of lavender oil and one of peppermint in my hand, inhale deeply and my headache goes away. Peppermint when used alone can energize you and lift your spirits.
Since it’s the holidays, I thought it’d be the perfect time to review Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Body Wash. Why? Because it’s scent is exhilarating and uplifting and quite pepperminty!
The body wash is formulated without sulfates, parabens, silicones, ethoxylates, phthalates, PEG or synthetic fragrances. It does contain A LOT of ingredients, but none of them are harmful. I usually don’t care to use products with tons of ingredients, when just a few can do the trick. In this case, however, I really like the body wash and how it performs so I decided to overlook the amount of ingredients.
The minty scent originates from peppermint oil, spearmint oil, wintergreen oil and menthol. The other ingredients are also beneficial to the skin and have many anti aging and antioxidant ingredients including:
- Black seed oil
- Pumpkin seed oil
- Red Raspberry seed oil
- Rosemary Oil
Here are a few of the features of this bodywash:
- The scent is truly refreshing! I especially loved to use this in the morning to wake myself up and at night when I was tired from a long day.
- It foams beautifully…I washed my whole body with just a few squirts.
- This body wash can also be used to wash your face and hands.
- It’s gluten free, which is very important to me and many others out there!
My skin was incredibly soft afterwards without any lotion used. So it let me take a break from applying lotion, which I like to do sometimes to let my skin “breathe.”
Here’s a BAD thing about the body wash:
I squirted it too hard once on my sponge and some got in my eye. Not so pleasant! It burned like hell, so be careful when using.
For some, the price might be too high: $22. But consider you’re getting a large 15 oz. bottle which will last you for months and an effective, natural product with no harmful ingredients.
My final thoughts-
I loved the way the body wash made my skin feel and the energizing scent. I also appreciated how it’s formulated- with pure, safe, and beneficial ingredients.
It can be purchased from the fabulous online store Charleston Naturally, which always sends you 3 free samples with every order.
Now it’s your turn!
