With so many challenges facing us today, it makes you wonder how one can even begin to live an organic life. I recently had the chance to talk with an inspiring women who is doing just that: living an organic life and helping others to do the same. Kelly Teegarden of Kelly Teegarden Organics has an incredible story which she graciously shared with me. In her 30s, she was diagnosed (truly by accident or perhaps by the grace of God) with thyroid cancer. When faced with such a devastating diagnosis, most people would have just lost all hope. Not Kelly. She persevered, survived the horrendous ordeal, and went on to found her own line of chemical free, natural and organic skin care. Just how did she persist and how did her life change as a result of her cancer diagnosis?
