I ususally say something like, "I used to feel the same way, until I realized I can't afford NOT to buy organic." I lost my sister to cancer when she was ony 54 to carcinoma, 2 years earlier my father and then my mother passed on. All of their causes of death could have been prevented by a healthy lifestyle and choices. I promote eating healthy in my business, (nutritionist) but I also hold talks on how to transition over to a healthier lifestyle which includes personal care items and the water. Actually, the water filters comes up almost first thing. Just wanted to say, I'm with you!
