DIY Pumpkin Spice Exfoliating Scrub

exfoliating scrub

Everywhere you look nowadays, you see pumpkins! And here is no different…I just love the fall when you have an excuse to eat and drink everything pumpkin! So far, I’ve made pumpkin muffins, pumpkin smoothies, and pumpkin soup to name a few!

There’s just something so yummy about pumpkin and it’s so healthy! It’s high in zinc and vitamins A and C. You want to know something weird? I didn’t eat any pumpkin until I was in my 20s. I don’t know why…my mom just never served it and pumpkin pie was never a staple at holiday time. When I began eating healthy, pumpkin presented itself to me in so many delicious grain-free, Paleo recipes and I jumped right in!

This led me to believe that since pumpkin is such a superfood internally…it would be wonderful for the skin! I know one of my favorite skincare lines, Eminence, features pumpkin prominently.

For us DIYers, I wanted to come up with an easy and luscious pumpkin exfoliating scrub so we can enjoy the fruits of fall. Scrub is one of the easiest DIY beauty products to make, uses just a few ingredients, and is so beneficial for your skin. So here, in pictures and words is my Pumpkin Spice Scrub.
