This is me!

A Message from Robin:

First off, I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit my site which is dedicated to exposing toxic cosmetics.  It really shows you are taking charge of your health by educating yourself about safer cosmetics.

So how did I become an organic beauty advocate?

It began when my mother passed away of ovarian cancer 12 years ago…boy, it sure doesn’t seem that long…anyway, shortly thereafter I began to realize many of the personal care products she used throughout her life may have contributed to her getting cancer, especially her use of talc. I’ve written about this toxic substance before, but if you missed it, there is a strong connection between the habitual use of talc and ovarian cancer. I only wish I knew than what I know now, but I can hope to make an impact on other women’s lives now since I was not able to with my own dear mother.

About 4 years ago, I began researching healthier ways of living, including eating organically, natural cures for diseases, and safer cosmetics. It changed my life for the better and I decided to start a blog to help women learn about harmful ingredients and better alternatives. I hope my passion about this topic comes through with every article I post. I chose to do my blog about beauty since I’ve always loved every aspect of it since I was a little girl. Even today, my boyfriend teases me about being a “girly-girl!”
